The Youth Ministry Expo is an annual regional training day targeted for those who are working with young people or have a heart for youth ministry. At this training day attendees have the opportunity to hear from a fantastic selection of key note speakers and workshop presenters, take part in sung worship, and also fellowship together. Anyone is welcome!
In 2019 this day took place on Saturday 25th May at St Columba Presbyterian Church. We were very blessed to have Rev. Fakaofo Kaio and Rev. Dr. Carolyn Kelly as our key note speakers for the morning and the St Austell’s Uniting Parish band to lead us in sung worship.
The afternoon included a variety of workshops from some wonderful presenters from:
– Heather Ameye-Bevers (Baptist Youth Ministries)
– Rev. Gary Mauga (St Andrews, Henderson minister)
– Matt Chamberlin (Presbyterian Youth Ministries)
– Suzanne Gamble (Alpha)
– Dr. Mark J. Keown (Laidlaw College).
The Youth Ministry Expo will take place again next year so watch this space! See below for some of the feedback and photos from 2019
